Banana Split "Cake"
Barb Harrison, down the road, made this for dinner one night. It’s not really a cake, as you can see. Easy, and every bit as good as a banana split, I bet you love it!.
Crust
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
Mix together and press into an 8x8 pan
Filling
1 cup butter
2 cups icing sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Mix for 10 minutes. Pour onto crumb base; chill at least30 mins.
14 oz. can crushed pineapple - drained
3 bananas - cut in pieces; soak in pineapple juice
Top filling with layers of banana pieces and crushed pineapple.
Cover with (contents) large container of Cool Whip.
Top with nuts, cherries and drizzle with chocolate sauce
(just before serving).
Refrigerate.
