Strawberry Sour Cream Pie
Berry Berry Good! I'm thinking this is the same as for a delicious peach pie we sometimes made -- everything the same except peaches for strawberries.
Set oven to 450°
Make a Speedy Pat In Pastry Shell (unbaked)
5 – 6 cups strawberries
1 ½ cups white sugar
1/2 cups flour
1 cup sour cream (drained of any extra liquid)
Mix sugar and flour, then add sour cream. Put berries in unbaked pie shell, and pour mixture over them.
Topping
1 cup flour
1 cup white sugar
2/3 cup butter
Mix until crumbly and sprinkle over pie.
Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, then 350° for 30 minutes, or until fruit is tender and top is light golden.
