Salmon Loaf and Hollandaise
Set oven to 350°
2 cans salmon
2 cups breadcrumbs, soft
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. salt
Combine.
1/2 cup milk
1 beaten egg
Add and mix all together. Shape into loaf and bake 40 minutes.
Good with Hollandaise below.
Hollandaise (Buttery White Sauce)
1/8 cup butter, melted in heavy saucepan
2 tbsp. flour
Whisk flour into melted butter.
1 cup cream or milk, approximately
Whisk into mixture quickly, keeping heat quite low.
You can add mustard at the end and call it mustard sauce, if you like.
