Coffee Flavoured Liqueur
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/3 cup instant coffee
26 oz. bottle vodka
2 tsp. vanilla
In saucepan, combine water and sugars. Simmer gently, uncovered for 10 minutes. Remove mixture from heat. Stir in coffee granules. Cool. Pour half into each of 2 one-quart jars. Stir half of vodka and vanilla into each jar.
Cover. Let stand at room temperature for 2 weeks.
