Pam's Ridiculously Delicious Brownies
Pam was a friend at the bank, where the tech writers marked every conceivable occasion with home baking. You could be sure when they shared a recipe it was Clear, Concise, Correct and Complete!
Set oven to 350°
Butter 9” x 13” pan.
4 large eggs
2 containers of President’s Choice Chocolate Spread(chocolate almond or chocolate hazelnut)
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
In large bowl, beat eggs until frothy, add chocolate spread, melted butter and vanilla. It’s really thick so use an electric mixer. Mix well.
2/3 cup flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until blended.
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups chopped pecans
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Place mixture in pan and bake 30 to 40 minutes. Brownies should appear slightly under-cooked in centre. For best flavour and texture, refrigerate overnight before eating.
