Mama Mia, It’s Lasagne!
The only recipe Ben asked for when he left home to go to Durham College.
Set oven to 350°
Use biggest Pyrex pan.

1 to 2 lb. hamburg or ground chicken and/or pork
1 medium onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Brown together.
1 jar cheap spaghetti sauce
1 jar Paul Newman’s or other good quality sauce (I use my homemade Fresh Tomato Sauce)
Add to rest and heat through, then turn off heat and set aside.

1 pkg. (4 oz.) creamed cottage cheese or ricotta
4 tbsp. parmesan cheese, grated
3 eggs
Mix together.
1/2 to 1 lb. mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 pkg. Oven Ready Lasagne noodles (or the kind you’ve
boiled up first, whichever you prefer)
Are you ready to build the mighty lasagne?
Layers order
1. cover bottom of pan with sauce #1
2. layer of noodles
3. layer meat sauce
4. layer noodles
5. layer meat sauce
6. layer cottage cheese/ricotta
7. layer noodles
8. layer meat sauce
9. layer noodles optional
10. layer sauce optional
11. top with layer mozzarella cheese

for 40 to 50 minutes.
