Nuts & Bolts
New Year’s Eve wouldn’t be Happy without Nuts & Bolts. Better double the recipe. Or Mom sometimes doubled just the sauce. When we camped with the kids, we used to make up enough to fill our Tupperware 12" caketaker to make sure we wouldn't starve.
Set oven to 325°
1/3 cup butter
Melt in large shallow pan
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
Stir into butter.
2 cups shreddies
2 cups cheerios
1 cup peanuts
pretzel sticks
Add to butter and stir around.
Bake 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
