Garlic Spareribs
A family favourite since the 80s, the sauce is great over rice.
Set oven to 350°
2 lbs. spareribs, cut into bite-sized pieces
Brown and pour off excess fat.
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 chicken bouillon cube (dissolved in hot water)
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. dry mustard
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
Mix together and add hot water. Pour over ribs in casserole with cover.
Simmer covered for half an hour. Remove lid and turn over all the ribs and continue cooking without the lid until ribs are tender and sauce is reduced and thickened, about another hour.
